Description
The Vulnerability Management Team is responsible for managing the process of identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and reporting security vulnerabilities across systems, applications, networks, and infrastructure, in order to minimize the risk of exploitation and improve the organization's security posture.
Scope of Work:
- Initiate, manage, and develop the vulnerability management process.
- Perform periodic vulnerability scanning on company assets.
- Analyze and validate vulnerability findings.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams, application teams, and vendors on remediation and patching.
- Monitor vulnerability remediation SLAs and escalate in case of delays.
- Prepare periodic reports on vulnerability trends, risk levels, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Support penetration testing and security audit processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of the vulnerability management process and monitoring dashboards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, or IT Security.
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment concepts, CVSS scoring, patch management, and risk-based remediation.
- Proficiency in using vulnerability scanners, with a foundation in system and application security analysis.
- Understanding of network architecture, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security fundamentals.
- Able to prepare technical and managerial reports on vulnerability findings.
- Able to work according to established targets and SLAs.
