Description

The need for the SAD Temenos Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth Product role is aligned with the initiative to strengthen technology capabilities in supporting the development, enhancement, and upgrade of BRI’s UKLN Core Banking, including the development of Wealth Management capabilities on the Temenos platform. This role is focused on strengthening the team’s capabilities in the Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth domains, including assessment, requirements analysis, solution design, vendor deliverable review, and Temenos T24 module development.

Scope of Work:

Analyze Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth Products business requirements and translate them into documented functional and technical solutions aligned with BRI’s architecture.
Prepare, review, and validate solution designs (functional/technical design), including transaction flows, product lifecycle, accounting impact, and integration with other modules and systems.
Conduct impact analysis on product changes, regulations, enhancements, and Core Banking upgrades to ensure implementation is aligned with business processes.
Provide consultation, solution recommendations, and technical and functional guidance to internal teams, vendors, QA, and stakeholders throughout the assessment, design, development, and implementation processes.
Perform development, customization, and maintenance of Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth modules on Temenos Transact using jBASE/JAVA, including routines, versions, local development, and the extensibility framework.
Develop and support the integration of Temenos Transact with other systems through OFS, APIs, middleware, and batch and online processes in accordance with business needs.
Support SIT, UAT, deployment, data migration, regression testing, dress rehearsal, and implementation, and ensure that vendor and internal deliverables meet the agreed requirements.
Perform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and root cause analysis on transaction issues, accounting postings, reconciliation, and integration within the Trade Finance and Treasury modules.
Maintain well-structured functional and technical documentation (Confluence, Jira, or similar tools), and conduct knowledge transfer to enhance the capabilities of the Temenos UKLN team.

Requirements

Work Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience in the implementation or development of Temenos Transact in a banking or financial institution environment.
Experienced in the Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth Products domains on Temenos Transact, including configuration, enhancement, and troubleshooting.
Experience in Temenos Core Banking implementation, enhancement, or upgrade projects is considered an advantage.
Involved in business requirements assessment, SIT, UAT, deployment, and implementation of Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth modules.
Experience in data migration, regression testing, and defect analysis activities is considered an advantage.

Required Technical Skills:

Understand the business processes, configuration, and product lifecycle of Temenos Transact in the Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth domains, including products, transactions, settlement, accounting, and event processing.
Proficient in the configuration and development of Temenos Transact using jBASE/JAVA, including routines, versions, local development, and the extensibility framework.
Understand Core Banking System concepts, accounting posting, settlement, accrual, GL impact, and transaction reconciliation in Temenos.
Experienced in conducting assessments, impact analysis, solution design reviews, and implementation validation on Trade Finance, Treasury, and Wealth modules.
Experienced in Temenos Transact integration through APIs, OFS, middleware, and batch and online processes.
Familiar with Unix/Linux environments, Oracle/SQL, and troubleshooting in both development and production environments.
Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and structured technical and functional documentation.

Non-Technical Skills:

Strong business requirements analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Able to provide technical and functional solution recommendations to internal teams and vendors.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, vendors, and relevant business units.
Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
Adaptive to changes in business requirements, regulations, and Core Banking UKLN product development.
