Description
Job Purpose:
Tax Intern PT Berdikari will assist the Tax team in preparing, reviewing, and filing tax documents in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. This role supports day-to-day tax administration, documentation, and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate tax submissions while minimizing tax risks for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tax Data Preparation & Documentation

Collect and organize tax-related documents such as invoices, receipts, and supporting schedules.

Prepare tax working papers for monthly and annual tax reporting.

Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
2. Monthly & Annual Tax Reporting Support

Assist in preparing and submitting e-Faktur (VAT) and e-SPT (tax returns) in accordance with Indonesian tax laws.

Support the preparation of PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), and VAT reports.

Help ensure timely submission of all tax obligations to the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP).
3. Tax Reconciliation & Analysis

Assist in reconciling tax data with accounting records to ensure accuracy.

Identify discrepancies and report them to the tax team for corrective actions.
4. Withholding Tax & VAT Processing

Support in calculating and withholding taxes on vendor payments and employee income.

Assist in inputting tax invoices into the e-Faktur system and validating data accuracy.
5. Tax Compliance & Regulation Monitoring

Keep track of updates and changes in Indonesian tax regulations and report relevant updates to the team.

Assist in ensuring the company remains compliant with tax laws and internal policies.
6. Audit Support

Prepare and provide necessary documents for tax audits or internal reviews.

Assist in answering basic queries from tax authorities under supervision.
7. Reporting & Administration

Prepare daily and weekly tax reports summarizing work progress and pending obligations.

Maintain organized tax files and digital archives for easy retrieval.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2)).

Familiarity with e-SPT and e-Faktur applications is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data management.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
