Job Summary:
Retail Procurement Intern PT Berdikari will provide hands-on experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management within a retail environment. The selected candidate will assist in vendor management, purchase order processing, and inventory control while gaining insights into procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Support the procurement team in processing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
- Conduct market research to identify new product trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and update procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
- Assist in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as inventory management, finance, and retail operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
- Participate in supplier meetings and prepare reports on procurement performance.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Interest in the retail industry and procurement processes.
