Job Overview:

Media Relations Intern at PT Berdikari will support the Corporate Communication team in maintaining positive public perception and strengthening media engagement. You will help coordinate media-related activities, monitor media coverage, draft communication materials, and assist in handling external communication to uphold the company’s reputation as a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) in the agribusiness and livestock sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and distributing press releases, media advisories, and company statements.

• Help maintain and update the company’s media contact database.

• Monitor print, online, and broadcast media for coverage of the company, industry news, and public sentiment.

• Assist in media relations efforts during events, press conferences, and product launches.

• Support the preparation of media kits and press materials.

• Help coordinate interviews, media inquiries, and responses to journalists.

• Draft content for internal and external publications (e.g., newsletters, website, social media).

• Assist in reporting on media exposure and public relations activities.

• Collaborate with the social media and digital team to ensure message consistency across platforms.

Requirements:

• Ongoing or recent studies in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• Strong writing and editing skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.

• Basic understanding of public relations, media landscape, and brand communication.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva or basic design tools is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.

• Interest in corporate communications within the agribusiness or BUMN context.
