Job Overview
The Corporate Legal & Compliance Intern PT Berdikari will assist the Corporate Legal & Compliance Division in providing legal support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining proper documentation to support the company’s operations. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate law, contract review, compliance monitoring, and governance processes within a state-owned enterprise engaged in agribusiness.
Key Responsibilities

Legal Document Management – Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing various legal documents such as contracts, memoranda of understanding, addendums, and company regulations to ensure legal accuracy and compliance with prevailing laws.

Contract Review & Analysis – Support the analysis of contractual terms, identifying potential risks, obligations, and ensuring all clauses align with company interests and regulatory standards.

Legal Research & Advisory Support – Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, agribusiness, and employment law; prepare summaries and recommendations for the Legal & Compliance team.

Compliance Monitoring – Assist in monitoring the company’s adherence to internal policies, business ethics, government regulations, and state-owned enterprise compliance requirements.

Corporate Governance Support – Help prepare documents related to governance matters such as shareholder meetings, Board of Directors/Commissioners resolutions, and corporate licensing.

Regulatory Filing & Licensing – Support the submission and renewal of business permits, registrations, and legal filings to relevant government bodies.

Coordination with External Parties – Liaise with law firms, notaries, and government institutions for legal documentation, verification, and certification processes.

Internal Policy Socialization – Assist in drafting and distributing internal compliance guidelines, code of conduct materials, and training content to employees.

Dispute & Case Documentation – Provide administrative assistance in documenting ongoing disputes, arbitration cases, or litigation matters, including compiling evidence and correspondence.

Archiving & Database Management – Maintain organized legal and compliance archives, both physical and digital, ensuring ease of access and confidentiality.
Qualifications

Final-year student or recent graduate in Law or related fields.

Basic understanding of corporate law, contracts, and compliance principles.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to work in a team and maintain confidentiality.
