Following the Boatswain’s instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Assisting in rigging and slinging during offshore or harbour operations.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting and greasing deck machinery.
Inspecting and maintaining ropes, wires and safety equipment as directed by the Boatswain or Chief Officer.
Standing look out duty on the bridge, reporting hazards or object during passage to the Officer on watch.
Assisting in navigation duties as required, such as monitoring and recording ship positions or weather conditions.
